Sleep, glorious sleep

Last night I had the best nights sleep since Misty arrived. As she sleeps in our bedroom, if she wakes up in the night and decides to use the bed as a racetrack, or dig to the centre of the earth in her litter tray it wakes me up - no mean feat I can tell you, I once slept through an earthquake, where buildings around me were cracking and groaning!

The trick was to tire her out thoroughly before bedtime. Using old boot laces and bits of scrunched up newspaper she gave the word hyperactivity new meaning last night. I could do with investing in some protective gloves as she has discovered claws and teeth, and how using them one can hang onto mums hands! The scars are not particularly visible yet, but they do sting a bit.
