Wanted to share this with you

My father in law sent me this, and with my mood swings lately, I loved it!

Women are like apples on trees. The best ones are at the top of the tree. Men don't want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling & getting hurt. Instead they take the apples from the ground that aren't as good, but easy. The apples at the top think there is something wrong with them, when in fact they are amazing. They just have to wait for the right man to come along, the one who is brave enough to climb all the way up the tree.

Now men……..men are like fine wine. They begin as grapes, and it's up to women to stomp the shit out of them until they turn into something acceptable to have dinner with.

Do I have your permission to send this around? It is so absolutely perfect!!

I'm glad you posted it - it does show that you are still in there - still fighting!

So that's why you picked a fireman!

debs. good fathers-in-law don't always measure up as good fathers. Whose side is he on, anyway? And what's all this about you picking a fireman. Firemen don't hang around waiting to be picked. They get out there and up that tree to pick the best, right?

Firemen chop the tree down and end up smothered in apple sauce.

I called by for ages and you were not in and then I get busy and forget to call and then you post three blogs and I missed out!

We all get those days/weeks when nothing is right and runnning away seems the only answer. But as we all find out, things pass and get beter in time.

I love this analogy from your FIL. He sounds like a good man.

Glad you are on top again and yup Breeezy will be back soon to give you a break with those dinner ladies.

All the best.

Hi Sith and Wooly, I'm am glad I am feeling better too. I hate feeling so miserable. And Wooly, you are all important people in my life, I am glad you are all there and that we can all be there for each other.

Hi Aims, of course you can send it around, you don't need to ask. Any jokes I post are for sending around the world.

Hi Breezy, they do have their uses!

Hi Mothers Place and Maggie May, glad you liked it.

Hi SB, You are so lovely! My FIL is a good old bloke.

Hi Stew, I've noticed that firemen tend to be pyromaniacs, so he would have probably set fire to it!

Hi MOB, it's funny isn't it, some days there is nothing to say and then some days I have verbal diarrhoea!
