Miss you Mum.

Mum died 5 years ago yesterday.

I think about here so much and really miss her. We had loads of ups and downs and often had a stormy relationship, but we had some great laughs as well.

She would have come over here often, we would have made all sorts of stuff for the house. She was a tailor and could make anything. Sadly my Dad has said he will never come here, he can't bear to be away from the house, especially overnight.

Miss you mum xxx

Know - exactly - what you mean.

Same here - 5 - just like it was yesterday.

Debra I can't believe it is 5 years ago that you were in my kitchen talking about your mum. How blessed I am to have mine over here with me, who would have thought? Hang in there friend.
Much love, Hazel

I'm so sorry, I have just lost my mum & I was hopeful that it gets easier..I guess not.

Remember the memories & treasure everything that she made. Big hugs.

Sorry about your mum. I can't imagine how I will feel about not having my mother at the other end of the 'phone and I try not to even think about losing her, to be honest. It will be unbearable.

I have been having a quick catch up with a few of your other posts. The geese are certainly keeping you busy. I'm so glad that you managed to remove the tick from little cat's bum. I felt for her!

Hurts so much at times. A real sense of loss that never goes but you just learn to cope with it.

I know where you are coming from. Hugs.

I also miss mine, 7 years ago. I don't think you ever really get over it.

Hi Maggie, I think you are right. I still go to phone her to ask for advice, or take a photo of something I think she will like xx
