Psycho Wife and Cuffbert

I feel I know you all well enough now to introduce you to Psycho Wife and Cuffbert.

These are 2 people that we don't really like staying in our house, but they often drop in un-announced. Currently they are sunning themselves in Acapulco, where Psycho Wife is trying to push poor Cuffbert off a high cliff!

Who are these people and where do they they come from? How often do they visit and will they visit you?

Well Psycho Wife is the name I give myself when I am having a major strop, or when I am feeling kind enough during a pre-strop to give OH advance warning that a major strop is brewing. I only have to say something daft like 'is that Psycho Wife coming down the road?' and he knows to walk away biting his tongue.

Cuffbert is OH's alter ego. He had a tendency to give me (to often for my taste) a 'cuff' round the head. This got changed into 'I'll give you a cuffbert if you don't pack it in'. Hence Cuffbert was born. Cuffbert pays visits when Psycho wife appears, when OH is tipsy or drink and all points in between, and generally whenever he feels like turning up.

They are not bad people, just a bit misunderstood and in wifeys case, very unwelcome as she does live up to her name!

Hi Debra - almost posted this on Breezy's blog - forgetting who had asked me for a bear pattern.

I found this one at www.kertzer.com

look for Sammy the Bear - it's a very cute - free - pattern!!

Good luck!!

Ah multiple personalities - that is the only way me and the hubby survive! You can have multiple conversations with so many different kinds of people and if you don't like the one you are talking to now, just wait five minutes until another mosey's on in there!

Debs, I like this style of blog. It's like being given a peep into the private lives of others, the daft little things which get us through life.

Hi Breezy, Psycho seems the strongest but often baks down in the face of lots of cuddles!
Hi Aims - thank you so much for the bear pattern. Much appreciated.
Hi MOB - We have often have conversations 'though' our cats. You know, 'tell your dad he is a grumpy old git' and 'tell your mum she is a stroppy mare'. At least we start laughing in the end!
Hi Billy Boy, I find that actually writing these things down is incredibly therapeutic. Lets hope psycho wife and cuffbert stay on vacation for a while!

Hi Elizabeth, I think that every household has 2 shady characters lurking in a wardrobe somewhere. It seems like ours come to visit more than most though!

Debra - just so you know you made me chuckle - boy! we can all relate. I love the conversation's through the cats. Talking of cats my daughter has Psycho Cat who sounds like Breezy's Mimo only with malice. I am enjoying your blogs.

Hi Aims
Thank you for visiting. I am glad you are enjoying my blogs. I adore my cats (you may have guessed!), luckily Psycho Wife loves cats too!
