Pub Quiz - French style

Although I love quizzes, and am a mine of useless information, I have never done a pub quiz. But, I have discovered pub quiz french style.

There is a lovely restaurant and B & B about 20 mins away from us, and they have been holding quiz evenings. Our team of 4 (the Blue team, or winning team) have been to 2 out of the 3 that they have put on. The first quiz was general knowledge and last nights was music. I wouldn't say we won, no, more like we slaughtered 'em!!!

It takes place in a beautiful old French house, and there is a four course evening meal with wine. There are 4 teams of 4 people, and 8 rounds of questions. Apart from failing abyssmally on the Beatles round (we are all far too young) we won all the other rounds. In fact, in the 'spot the intros' round we got every answer right.

I think that the other teams could tell we had a competitive streak by the way we screamed 'yes!!!' every time we got a right answer and yelled 'loooooserrrrs' to all the other teams! Of course we were bouyed up by a few bottle of nice chilled rose wine.

We are waiting with baited breath for the next quiz night.
